Paula Jennings lives in the East Neuk of Fife. She is a literature professional, promoting the writing of poetry both with groups and as an individual mentor. She also works creatively with people who have dementia, sometimes making collaborative poems. Her poetry, supported by Arts Council bursaries and a Hawthornden Fellowship, has been widely published in Scottish magazines and anthologies. These are rich, strange poems of surreal imagination and unconventional spirituality, radiating intense awareness of what it means to be alive. Their vitality is celebratory - and infectious. From the Body of the Green Girl is the poet's second collection.
